1) Collaborating with clients, directors, writers, and other stakeholders to develop project ideas, themes, and concepts.

2) Participating in the scriptwriting process, providing feedback and approval.

3) Overseeing the planning stage of video production, including scheduling, budgeting, casting, location scouting, and obtaining necessary permits and licenses.

4) Selecting key production staff such as directors, cinematographers, editors, and other crew members.

5) Creating and managing the budget for the production, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

6) Approving expenditures and handling financial negotiations with vendors, talent, and others involved.

7) Supervising the actual production process, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and on schedule.

8) Coordinating various production elements, such as equipment, logistics, crew, and on-site management.

9) Working with the director and other key creative roles to ensure the production's vision is realized and that the final product meets quality standards.

10) Overseeing any necessary reshoots or additional work required.

11) Coordinating the editing, sound design, visual effects, colour grading, and other post-production processes.

12) Reviewing and approving the final cut, ensuring it aligns with project goals and client expectations.

13) Serving as the main point of contact for clients, updating them on project status, and addressing their feedback and concerns.

14) Presenting the final product to the client and handling revisions as needed.

15) Ensuring that all aspects of the production comply with legal requirements, such as contracts, intellectual property rights, labour laws, and safety regulations.

16) Obtaining necessary releases, permissions, and clearances.

17) Collaborating with marketing and distribution teams to promote and distribute the video content, if applicable.

18) Working on strategies to maximize reach and impact, such as film festivals, online platforms, or other distribution channels.

19) Leading and motivating the production team, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.

20) Providing mentorship and guidance to junior production staff.

21) Identifying potential risks and challenges and implementing strategies to mitigate them.

22) Handling any unforeseen issues that arise during production, such as weather delays, technical problems, or other unexpected challenges.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
