3. Inventory Management: Keeping track of inventory levels and ordering medications and supplies when necessary is another responsibility of pharmacy assistants. This ensures that the pharmacy has an adequate supply of medications to meet patient needs.

4. Administrative Tasks: Pharmacy assistants may also perform various administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records, processing insurance claims, and managing paperwork related to prescriptions.

5. Health Education: Pharmacy assistants may provide basic health education to patients, such as information on how to properly take medications, potential side effects, and drug interactions.

6. Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety: Ensuring that the pharmacy area is clean and organized, and that all medications are stored properly, is essential for pharmacy assistants to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
