**Responsibilities**:

- Provide EHS and Security (EHS&S) assistance and support to the EHS&S Manager and company and each Business Center area for continuously improve EHS and Security performance through EHS and Security leadership, audit, training, communication, accident investigation and follow-up of correction and any other directives from Management and Malaysia EHS Legal Requirement.
- Act as EHS&S professional to assist EHS&S Manager to continuously improve EHS&s performance through HIRARC, JSA, EHS audit, inspection, training, education, communication and promotion initiatives.
- Execute a strong EHS culture through dedication to EHS&S excellence, internal & external communications with DOSH & other Malaysia regulations.
- Trained and competent in ISO14001 Management System & Schedule Waste Competence Person.
- Act as Plant Optimization - PEC Committee to maintain a strong awareness of applicable EHS regulations and best practices including conducting daily safety audits on floor, and report unsafe findings to area management for improvement and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate incident investigation including OSHA, first aid & near miss cases.
- Responsible for yearly, monthly, and weekly EHS reporting to Region and regulatory bodies including DOSH & DOE
- Conduct HIRARC / JSA for new process and yearly review of the existing process with stakeholders.
- Responsible to update weekly on the Security performance and reporting.
- Responsible for Procurement & Finance update on the cost saving, invoice & payment under EHS activities
- Responsible to improve EHS & S's current process, record tracking, and record keeping.
- Train associate in EHS & S matters including the latest legal requirements.
- Execute and update the ERP including fire fighting equipment record, evacuation drill, and first aid.
- Act as a leader for certain EHS programs assigned by leadership.
- Listen to Employee’s voices for EHS concerns and give them prompt feedback.
- Advise BC Manger on EHS legislation, standards, requirements, best practices, and findings.

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental science/ Any Bachelor's degree with certified Safety & Health Officer from DOSH and
- Schedule Waste Competent Person from DOE]
- 3 -5 years of EHS management experience
- Good English and Bahasa Malaysia and Computer ability is preferred.
- Be proactive, independent, and team work player.
- Excellent knowledge in Safety and environmental laws, ISO14001 and Schedule Waste processes.
- Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy (General Applications Microsoft Word).
