Junior Dtp Artist

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing and formatting artwork for printing.
- Support preflight checks and basic file troubleshooting.
- Learn to use Prinergy, Proman, and SignaStation workflows.
- Assist with basic imposition tasks under supervision.
- Help in setting up simple variable data printing (VDP) jobs.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth job flow and meet deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Certificate in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat).
- Basic knowledge of printing processes (offset or digital)
- Basic understanding of different paper types, finishing and binding methods.
- Willingness to learn and work in a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to production demands, with close coordination with the graphic designer & customer controller.
- Ability to do multi-tasking.

Preferred Skills:

- Some exposure to printing or packaging industry is a plus.
- Basic understanding of layout and design principles.
- Familiarity with digital proofing or online review tools is an advantage.
- Exposure to spectrophotometer devices (e.g. X-Rite, Techkon) or interest in learning color measurement tools is a plus.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
