**Job Description**:
It is important for this position to focus on completing and implementing solutions to meet customer requirements, and for this, it is important to demonstrate a sense of urgency and to always pursue his/her work with drive and energy. This position should also show ownership in order to meet quality and performance standards and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

The position will assist their manager in the planning of each task and will also assist their team in designing solutions; therefore he/she must be a strong team player.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyzes, designs, develops, codes and implements programs in one or more programming languages/frameworks, for a specific assigned software system or systems.
- Designs and defines specifications for systems.
- Defines specifications and develop programs, modifies existing programs, prepares test data, and prepares functional specifications.
- Analyzes program performance during execution while using various programming languages and techniques.
- Identifies potential process improvement areas and suggests options and recommends approaches.
- Provides guidance to non-technical staff in using software and hardware systems most effectively and efficiently.
- Reviews project proposals, evaluates alternatives, provides estimates and makes recommendations.
- Responsible for development of system functionality
- Responsible for L1-L2 production support and working flexibly as required by Australian business
- Participate in design and implementation
- Unit test/integration test of functionality developed

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Self-driven professional who can succeed with little supervision.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong programming knowledge in Java/J2EE with strong focus on backend coding/logic.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, interact with Australian business and external clients as required, with strong focus of support systems
- Extensive experience in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Bootstrap CSS framework, Web Services, JMS, JSF, ETL and API’s REST and API Apigee, Jquery, Jboss/Wildfly Application Server, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, ORM technologies (Hibernate) and SQL including writing stored procedures.
- Knowledge of working in Unix/Linux environment with the know-how of shell scripting.
- Experience working with Agile methodology
- Knowledge on working in a DevSecOps methodology
- Knowledge of Design Pattern and with the know-how of implementing it.
