**Position Overview**

Import & Export Assistant is responsible to assist on import and export documentation for HORECA and QSR sector in Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and overseas.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assists perform shipment processes for import and export.
- Prepare necessary import documentation before shipment date.
- Assists providing documentation to the appointed forwarding agent for container clearance.
- Assist in providing import and export shipment schedule updates.
- Assists coordinating shipment schedule and liaises with warehouse and forwarder.
- Assists to request from Finance department for documentation release.
- Assists in compiling and filing documentation for Purchasing, Import & Export.
- Assists in complying with any requirement related to audit.
- Daily update consignment schedule on the Consignment Board.
- To collect documentation at JAKIM and DVS if required.
- Assists in ordering raw material for Purchasing Department.
- Assists to liaise with Finance Department regarding payment of import raw material.
- To perform any other assigned duties from time to time.

**Qualification & Experience**
- Minimum Certificate/ Diploma in Business Administration or equivalents.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge about import and export is an added advantage.
- Willing to travel if required.

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Product knowledge.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Authorities.
- Knowledge of shipment and consignment processes.
- Posses a valid driving license.
