Supermarket Retail Buyer

Our mission is to give the best price with quality". **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** - To coordinate buying, promotional & merchandising activities and follow through with timely inward and outward deliveries. - To negotiate with local and international suppliers on price, quantity, quality, and trading terms to meet the Company's objective. - To develop an action plan and recommendation to reduce the store's disposal. - To compile the information from all stores and analyse customer purchasing behavior and market trend. - To monitor suppliers' delivery performance. - To ensure the optimum stock level for all stores are maintained. - To keep abreast of competition, product price and trends, and provide feedback to the Management. AD HOC requirement needed. **REQUIREMENTS** - Minimum Diploma in any field. - Demonstrate a strong analytical, decision-making ability and strong commercial awareness. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a group. - Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel. - Positive attitude, self-motivated, a good team player, disciplined, committed and able to work under pressure. - Business-minded with a passion for retail. - Experience in buying or purchasing. **Salary**: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month **Benefits**: - Opportunities for promotion - Professional development Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay - Performance bonus COVID-19 considerations: MASKED Ability to commute/relocate: - Putrajaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred) **Experience**: - Retail Sales: 2 years (preferred) - Buyer: 2 years (preferred) - Fresh Department: 2 years (preferred)
