PPC Technician

A Production Planning Technician is responsible for supporting the scheduling and coordination of Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance checks to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and deadlines. They assist in the availability of materials and equipment, help schedule maintenance tasks, and monitor the MRO process for any issues. The role involves maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and ensuring that all work adheres to the approved maintenance program and regulatory requirements. The Production Planning Technician reports to and receives instructions from the Production Planning Engineer.

**Roles & Responsibilties**
- Assisting in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance checks.
- Evaluating and ensuring the availability of materials and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- To review and record all maintenance related records before and after completion to ensure no discrepancies.
- Reporting on the status of maintenance activities and any issues to the Production Planning Engineer.
- Handling disruptions and productivity problems within the Line and Base Maintenance processes.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Diploma/Degree in Aircraft Maintenance/Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, OR,
- Minimum 2 years of Aircraft Maintenance/Planning experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be motivated, driven and be a team player and also be able to work independently.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
