Social Media specialist job description should contain the following duties and responsibilities:

- Build the brand’s visibility on all social media and search networks. Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy through audience identification, benchmarking, competitive research, and platform determination. - Manage, develop, edit, publish, and share the social media content. For example, unique textual content, pictures, video on regular basis. Make editorial calendars and syndication plans. - Measure the success of every social media campaign. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Work with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales teams
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network; Requirements: - Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or its equivalent with 2-3 years of social media management experience. - Good knowledge of Social Media Marketing channels - Google+, Facebook and Instagram and Tik Tok. A deep understanding of content marketing strategies and best practices. Experienced and hands-on with social media management tools, eg. Hootsuite, Meltwater, etc. Graphic design skills highly desired. - Outgoing, with strong written and verbal communications skills. - Proficient in both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Malay. Extra language skills are added advantage.
