To improve and revise existing product formulations and processes if necessary to optimize productivity and cost
- To initiate research & development efforts to create new products
- To carry out R&D projects such as formulation, sample preparation, and sensory evaluation
- To establish/ maintain and update related work instructions, including analysis method, product specification, and documents of all projects and samples status on time
- To conduct and monitor the preparation of prototype/ sample and to determine the process specifications predetermined in the lab
- Assist in performing product demonstration and improve product profiles to meet customer demand.
- Participate in cross-departmental activities resulting in meeting food safety and quality objectives.
- Assist to control and manage the department operations

**Job Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree in food relevant field is required
- Knowledge of food technology, food microbiology, safe food handling procedures and food service sanitation practices
- Understanding on compliance of food safety standard such as ISO 22000, HACCP and HALAL requirements is beneficial
- Independent and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Proactive in seeking solutions and solving problems
- Team player and good communication skilll
- Applicants must be willing work in **Muar, Johor.**

**Salary**: From RM2,800.00 per month
