**Job Summary**

To support the procurement team in executing day-to-day purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, tracking deliveries, and maintaining procurement records. The Procurement Clerk ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and components critical to the electronics manufacturing process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved Purchase Requisitions.
- Ensure accuracy in PO details including quantity, specifications, pricing, and delivery dates.
- Follow up on outstanding or delayed deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Maintain updated procurement records, including POs, invoices, delivery notes, and quotations.
- Ensure proper filing of all procurement-related documents for audit and reference purposes.
- Liaise with the warehouse and production team to monitor stock levels and material requirements.
- Support in tracking inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Assist in gathering quotations and comparing prices to support cost-effective sourcing.
- Update the vendor database with accurate supplier information.
- Assist the Procurement Executive or Manager with reporting, price analysis, and document preparation.
- Handle general clerical duties such as data entry, scanning, and correspondence.

**Job Requirements**
- SPM / Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in electronics or manufacturing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic purchasing systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and manufacturing terms is an added advantage.
