Electrical Technician

**KEY JOB OBJECTIVES**
- To adhere to the Hume Group Health and Safety Policy.
- To contribute towards meeting Hume Environmental Policy and Standard.
- To ensure active participation in 5S and other company activities.
- To reduce downtime of any electrical & instrumentation equipment of the plant to a minimum level.
- To maintain the accuracy of measurement and control of all instrumentation equipment to acceptable values with proper systematic recording and filing.
- To ensure electrical equipment are maintained with high standard and operated safely.
- To implement plant improvement project to eliminate breakdown and/or increase productivity.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Functional (Job Responsibilities): _
- To attend promptly to any breakdown on electrical, instrumentation and control equipment.
- To test all equipment and protection system are in excellent working condition.
- To carry out maintenance and calibration of all equipment during planned maintenance schedule and upon request by the customer.
- To carry out installation and commissioning of plant improvements projects.
- To carry out effective trouble shooting on electrical, instrumentation and control related problem in a short time.
- To carry out routine inspection on all electrical, instrumentation and control equipment to ensure all are in working order.
- Managerial (Team/Group Responsibilities): _
- To ensure jobs assigned are carried out promptly and effectively.
- To ensure planned maintenance job of all equipment on schedule.
- To report immediately any major fault/detected fault on any equipment to the immediate superior.
- To observe good housekeeping of workshop, control room equipment and field equipment.
- Organisational (Organisational Responsibilities): _
- To promote safety and healthy working practices.
- To involve with teammates in small group activities and company’s quality movement.
- To execute other functions as and when required by the immediate superior

**JOB REQUIREMENT**
- Must be willing to work at **Gopeng, Perak**.
- Knowledge in Electrical safety / Competent certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga as an advantage.
- Must have 2 -3years working experience in maintenance field, Fabrication works (welding) and machinery fittings work.
- Have basic knowledge of electrical equipment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
