**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of factory equipment and facilities. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and repairing mechanical, HVAC, and facilities systems.

**Responsibilities**

**Preventive Maintenance**:
To conduct regular inspections and maintenance on factory equipment, machinery, and systems.

To replace worn or damaged parts as needed.

To lubricate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.

To follow established maintenance schedules and procedures.

To troubleshooting and Repairs:
To diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic breakdowns.

To identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.

To replace faulty components and restore equipment to operational condition.

**HVAC Systems**:
To maintain and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.

To ensure proper functioning of temperature control systems.

To clean and filter air ducts and components.

To facilities Maintenance:
To perform general maintenance tasks on factory facilities, such as plumbing, electrical wiring, and building structures.

To repair leaks, replace fixtures, and address minor building issues.

To ensure the cleanliness and safety of the factory environment.

**Safety Compliance**:
To adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

To use appropriate safety equipment and practices.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance or a related field.

Experience in maintaining industrial equipment and facilities.

Knowledge of HVAC systems and principles.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills (preferred)

Certification in HVAC or related fields.

Experience with electrical systems and controls.

Proficiency in using maintenance software and tools.
