**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement long-term preventive maintenance strategies that align with organizational goals and operational requirements.
- Design, establish, and continuously improve comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for plant equipment and machinery.
- Review and update maintenance work procedures, specifications, and documentation in accordance with operational and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
- Evaluate existing maintenance practices to identify areas for improvement and implement industry best practices.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor preventive maintenance budgets, including manpower, materials, and spare parts.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize maintenance efficiency while minimizing downtime and operational costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising equipment reliability, safety, or quality.
- Plan and execute CAPEX projects that impact preventive maintenance performance and reliability.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and performance analyses of completed projects.
- Liaise with relevant departments, contractors, and government authorities to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to maintenance staff to enhance performance and skill levels.
- Analyze and report on the integrity and performance of plant equipment, proposing corrective or improvement actions where necessary.
- Review equipment designs and modifications to ensure reliability and maintainability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and contractors to define and execute maintenance work scopes effectively.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of **7-10 years** of relevant experience in plant maintenance, with at least **3-5 years** in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing preventive maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS).
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, utilities, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with maintenance methodologies such as **Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)**, **Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)**, or **Reliability Engineering** is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable safety and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, and local authority requirements).
- Ability to perform under pressure and respond effectively to operational challenges.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** and **maintenance management software**.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
