**POSITION**

We’re seeking a highly talented Video Editor and Social Media Producer to join our team on a remote basis. This position comes with tight deadlines, so we’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure while delivering exceptional quality work.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will encompass:

- **Video Editing**: Edit raw video footage into polished, professional-quality videos aligned with the company’s vision and standards.
- **Social Media Content Creation**: Produce and adapt video content tailored for various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and others.
- **Visual Storytelling**: Create compelling narratives through video, incorporating dynamic visuals, graphics, and animations.
- **Content Scheduling**: Coordinate and schedule social media posts to ensure a consistent content flow across platforms.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the content, marketing, and creative teams to develop and execute video strategies.
- **Tight Deadlines**: Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a commitment to meeting tight turnaround times.
- **Trend Analysis**: Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to ensure content is innovative and engaging.
- **Post-Performance Tracking**: Monitor the performance of published content and recommend improvements for future projects.
- Any other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Submit a maximum of 3 minutes self introduction video
- Proven experience as a Video Editor and Social Media Producer or in a similar role.
- Expertise in editing software - mainly DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro.
- Advanced knowledge of various social media platforms and their best practices - mainly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Exceptional storytelling and editing skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and creativity.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and simple animation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong self-management skills for remote work environments.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work, including social media videos, reels, or campaigns.
- Be highly comfortable in interacting with others, of varying personalities, in person, on the phone and through using remote tools
- Attention to detail
- Have extensive experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other video-conference platforms

Desired Skills:

- Marketing or Public Relations experience and knowledge is an asset
- Have cadets and military experience is an asset

**WORK HOURS**:
March to June, with possibility to extend. While working hours are flexible, projects are usually with tight turnaround times. Be expected to work anywhere between 30 hours to 50 hours a week.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Freelance, Internship
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
