**About the Job**
Texas Instruments (TI) is currently looking for a service-minded and experienced Health and Safety Specialist for our company. If you have a passion for promoting a positive safety culture and a knowledge of job site safety requirements coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion dollar organization, this may be the position for you

**The responsibilities of a Construction Safety Specialist in this role include**:

- This role will provide ESH support of TI's growth during design, construction, and commissioning activities
- Participate in ESH design reviews to ensure that facilities are designed and constructed to meet established safety, health and environmental regulations and best practices
- Responsible for ESH support at multiples sites
- Work with cross-functional teams (ESH, Facilities, WPL, Legal) to develop project based on ESH requirements, gain board support and attain project approval
- Direct interface with project team, including participation in team meetings and review of design and construction plans
- Evaluate and assess ESH risk (eg: chemical or gas, electrical, confined space, falls and mechanical risks) associated with project and constructions
- Drive a sustainable culture of excellence in ESH by fostering leadership commitment and the engagement of employees and contractors
- Review ESH related contract bids to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Oversee a team of ESH Specialist, Safety and Health Officers, Site Safety Supervisors from contractor's team for construction project
- Ensure construction main contractor have established a solid contractor training or onboarding, daily site walks, work permits, incident investigations and risk assessments program and process
- Monitor construction site ESH performance
- Manage authority inspections related to ESH and document according to regulation and TI requirements.
- Review contractors lift plans, confined space permits, excavation permits, hot work, energized electrical and LOTO when needed. Ensure contractor have a solid process and meet all requirements

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Safety & Health, Engineering or any equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of ESH field with experience in project, construction or manufacturing industry
- Certified Safety & Health Officer, Train the Trainer an any other ESH related competency will be and added advantage

- Proactive, passionate and highly committed in driving ESH excellence and improve ESH culture
- Good in soft skills such as stakeholder engagement, influencing skills, presentation skills, managing difficult conversation
- Willing to learn and open to a dynamic and challenging environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
