Manufacturing Training Technician

The Manufacturing Training Technician is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering technical training programs to manufacturing employees. This role involves assessing training needs, creating instructional materials, and using hands-on teaching methods to enhance the skills and knowledge of production staff. The technician ensures that all training activities align with company standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess training needs by collaborating with production managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to identify skill gaps and performance improvement areas.
- Develop and maintain training curricula, materials, and resources, including manuals, visual aids, and online modules, tailored to specific manufacturing roles and processes.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions and workshops for manufacturing employees, focusing on equipment operation, safety protocols, quality control, and process optimization.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure objectives are met and knowledge is retained.
- Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness, using learning management systems and other tracking tools.
- Stay current with the latest manufacturing technologies, techniques, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by providing initial training and orientation to manufacturing operations.
- Facilitate continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from trainees and incorporating suggestions into future training.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements within the training context.
- Assist in the development and implementation of competency assessments and certification programs for manufacturing personnel.

**Qualifications**:
Qualifications:

- Diploma in a technical field, Electric and Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related discipline, with minimum 1 year of experience.
- Proven experience as a training technician or similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
- Proficient in the use of computers and learning management systems.
- Certification in technical training, instructional design, or a related area is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
