- We are an ambitious startup dedicated to establishing a high-quality chicken feed manufacturing operation from the ground up. Our focus is on creating a sustainable, efficient, and profitable business that meets the needs of local poultry farmers and the broader agricultural industry in Malaysia. As we build our facilities and brand, we are seeking **a seasoned Production Manager** to lead our manufacturing initiatives and drive growth.

**Position Summary**
- Additionally, they will be responsible for recruiting and building a competent operational team as the business scales.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the design, planning, and construction of the chicken feed manufacturing facility.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Manage procurement of machinery, raw materials, and equipment.
- Establish quality control protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and secure initial customers/buyers, building strong relationships with poultry farmers and distributors.
- Develop sales strategies and marketing efforts to penetrate the local market.
- Recruit, train, and manage operational staff, building a small, efficient team.
- Monitor production KPIs, costs, and efficiencies; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in feed manufacturing.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in chicken feed manufacturing or related poultry industry roles.
- Proven track record in establishing and managing feed production facilities, preferably from scratch.
- Strong understanding of feed formulation, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.
- Experience with facility design, equipment selection, and construction management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
- Leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and managing operational teams.
- Good analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of project milestones.

**Preferred Skills**
- **Engineering or technical background in manufacturing or process engineering**.
- **Knowledge of Malaysian poultry market and supply chain.**:
