Corporate Banking & Finance, Commercial Property:

- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented chambering student to join our firm’s Corporate Banking and Commercial Property practice groups. You will work under the guidance of experienced lawyers and partners, gaining practical experience in a range of transactional, advisory, and drafting work.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and review of financing documents such as loan agreements, security documents (e.g. debentures, legal charges, assignments), and facility agreements.
- Conduct legal due diligence on corporate and property transactions.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, tenancy agreements, and other property-related documents.
- Perform legal research and prepare legal opinions or memoranda on issues relating to corporate law, land law, and banking regulations.
- Liaise with government authorities, banks, and clients to assist in completion and registration processes.
- Shadow and support litigation or dispute resolution matters where relevant to property or banking disputes.
- Support administrative and compliance requirements related to chambering.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognised university and completion of the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or equivalent (e.g. Bar Professional Training Course).
- Strong interest in corporate transactions, banking, and real estate law.
- Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and professional attitude.
