Job Responsibilities

**Guest Reception**:

- Warmly greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and thank them as they leave.
- Manage the guest waiting list during busy periods, estimating wait times accurately, and providing regular updates to waiting guests.

**Reservations Management**:

- Answer phone calls and take reservations from guests, recording all necessary information accurately.
- Confirm reservations and follow up with guests to confirm any changes or cancellations.

**Seating Assignments**:

- Seat guests promptly and efficiently, taking into account server availability and table rotations.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus if needed.

**Communication and Coordination**:

- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service.
- Relay special requests or accommodations to the appropriate staff members.

**Guest Assistance**:

- Provide information to guests about the restaurant, including menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Assist guests with special needs or requests, such as high chairs, booster seats, or wheelchair access.

**Maintaining Appearance**:

- Ensure the host/hostess stand is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of the waiting area and restroom facilities.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and bussers, to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to address any issues or concerns that arise during the shift.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
