I
n your new role you will:
P
- erform identification, qualification and management of incidents in respect to complex threats
S
- upport in developing strategies to contain and eradicate threats
D
- esign, develop and maintain tools, systems and system landscapes which help to handle Cyber Security Incidents and which are used for data analysis and automation during Incident Response
U
- se modern technologies to build tools to fight cyber threats
S
- upport the development of new detection use cases and rules following international standards
R
- esponsible for documentation of detection use cases, rules and change management
P
- rovide system triage support (basic forensics) to acquire and analyze system and network artefacts during security incident response
S
I
- nvolve and support SME in the global scale project
C
- losely work and support SME within functional areas to support overall department goals

Y
ou are best equipped for this task if you have:
B
- achelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any equivalent course
D
- irect experience in the line of SOC/ CDC/ CERT work (e.g., security monitoring and detection, incident response, network event analysis, threat analysis, threat intelligence or malware analysis)
D
- irect experience with security monitoring and log management solutions
E
- xperience with typical active or passive security solutions are preferable (e.g. IDS/IPS, firewall, web-filters, malware sandboxes, EDR)
K
- nowledge about the Cyber Security Incident Lifecycle / Process and corresponding standards
K
- nowledge about fundamental concepts of networking and operating systems
K
- nowledge about automation and tooling of regular tasks using scripting languages
P
- ossess one of the following certifications (or similar) would be an advantage: GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

- luent English language skills in speaking and writing

- ands-on attitude and self-disciplined approach to problem solving

- ands-on attitude, including automation and tooling of regular tasks using scripting languages
