Lifeguard:

- Supervises all swimming activities at the Raffles American School aquatic facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
- Warns swimmers/students of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.
- Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
- Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required.
- Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
- Supervises and assists in cleaning the pool / pool area and related facilities and equipment as needed.
- Assists the head swimming coach in classes including fundamentals of swimming.
- Plans and schedules current boarding staff / student use of aquatic facilities.

Physical Education Aide:

- Assist in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior.
- Assist the physical education staff in creating an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Attend PE Lessons as an assistant to physical education staff in performing specific duties as assigned.
- Set up equipment for class as required.
- Provide escort and assistance to children as necessary.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Display and encourage safety procedures in work and organized game activities
- Responsible for maintenance and storage of physical education / sports equipment.
- Perform a variety of administration tasks such as photocopying, filing, as required.

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
