**Job Overview**:
- Convert all guest bookings done through the Reservations department
- Proactively identify opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities or occupancy of the hotel or cluster of hotels
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve/exceed personal revenue/ occupancy targets set by the reporting manager
- Adopt a sales focused mindset. Actively identify and recommend opportunities to maximise revenue/ increase conversion rates
- Be a service ambassador and actively promote the Stamford Hotels and Resorts brand
- Respond to guest requests and provide prompt and courteous service at all times
- Attend to guest inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions etc. in a timely manner
- Where required, assist to perform service recovery
- Maintain up to date knowledge on guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities and services
- Ensure each reservation request is processed in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Ensure relevant deposit/ payment/ refund information are collected and processes followed through in accordance with our SOPs
- Ensure relevant bookings (corporate, online, group etc.) are entered correctly and accurately in our PMS
- Attend daily briefings to understand operational requirements, changes and other hotel activities that may impact the operations of the Reservations team
- Share knowledge of competitor activities or industry trends and developments with the team
- Suggest ideas to improve the overall guest service experience and increase revenue opportunities
- Ensure personal and team compliance with all Hotel & department’s P&Ps (WHS, Code of Conduct etc.) and all applicable external laws, regulations and industry standards
- Ensure personal and team compliance on grooming standards and house rules at all times
**Job Requirements**:
- Some relevant experience in Front Desk, Reservations or Hotel Sales preferred
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Knowledge of Property Management System such as Opera, Epitome or Delphi
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent customer service skills (both internal and external)
- Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Responsible and dependable
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Embrace personal accountability; sense of ownership
- Responsible to follow tasks through completion
- Team player with a positive, can do attitude
- Passion for hospitality
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM1,950.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
