**About your new role**
The Account Manger is responsible for supporting the Account Director within a defined client portfolio, delivering exceptional client servicing initiatives, nurturing strategic client relationships and facilitating financial growth for key accounts. The role allows you to deeply understand the inner workings of a digital agency, supporting the billing for performance media and creative services within the overall GrowthOps service offering. Success on the account is measured through revenue growth, margin objectives, and client feedback.
This role will be part of the Account Team within the Creative Services and Marketing practice and report to the Sr Account Director and ultimately the Business Unit Head. They will also work with Analysts and Consultants who work in our Marketing Technology and Performance practices to align on integrated client briefs and create a holistic account servicing solution for GrowthOps partners.
**Strategic**
- Proactively identify new opportunities to grow the account strategically.
- Spearhead key presentations to clients and participate in key brainstorms and planning sessions.
- Craft compelling presentations and narrative for client based on agreed strategic direction
- Responsibly follow up on business opportunities and drive growth for the account.
**Relationship** Management**
Owns the client relationship and effectively sells our offerings to existing clients.
- Gatekeeper for all work that goes out to clients (QC)
- Owner of the strategic and tactical plan to meet agreed clients objectives.
- Understands the competitive landscape and how to differentiate GrowthOps
- Outstanding client service & relationship building abilities. Proactively manages relationships with clients and seeks opportunities to strengthen/build new relationships as needed.
- Continuously enhances account performance and results through reports, learnings, data and optimisation.
- Support the leadership team in delivering against set revenue targets.
**Project Management**
Drive strong project management of campaigns and projects, that may include: Integrated Creative Campaigns, Social Media Retainers, ATL, BTL, Inter-agency management, and more.
- Create and manage project management tools and dashboards to manage projects and deliverables
- Create weekly WIP sheets
- Actively manage all stakeholders to deliver on time
**What we’d love to see from you**:
- Account management with at least 6 years of experience ideally from the creative advertising industry
- Understanding of ATL, BTL, social media and digital marketing channels
- Experience working with performance teams and managing timelines
- Process driven and has good attention to detail
- Ability to drive collaboration within the internal business unit
- Strong communication skills with ability to build and maintain effective client/agency relationships
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen and a numbers person
- Good understanding and tracking of financial/commercial scope and billings
