1. **Sample Analysis**: Analyse mineral samples to determine their chemical composition.
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses using multiple techniques.
- Introduce new testing method to identify other valuable elements’ concentration.

2. **Process Optimization**:Enhance the efficiency of mining and mineral processing operations.

Working with Mining Engineers to improve processes.
- Developing and testing new reagents or chemical processes to increase yield and reduce costs.

3. **Quality Control**:Ensure that the products meet the required specifications.
- Testing final products like metals or concentrates to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Overseeing laboratory quality control procedures, calibrating equipment, and validating methods.

4. **Research and Development (R&D)**:Innovate new methods for mineral extraction and processing.
- Conduct research to develop more efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly mining techniques.
- Experimenting with novel chemicals or processes to extract minerals from complex ores.

5. **Health and Safety**:Minimize chemical hazards in mining operations.
- Assessing the toxicity and reactivity of chemicals used in either process or lab.
- Implementing safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
- Develop and review Safety Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P) on the safe use of chemicals and emergency response procedures.

6. **Project Management**: Support chemical-related projects within the mining operation.
- Assist in managing budgets, timelines, and resources for chemical analysis projects.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

**Requirements**:
Analytical Chemistry Applied and relevant discipline with a major in Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 2 years and above of full-time professional laboratory experience. Preferably experience in Mining or Quarry-related industry.
- Good in MS Office and good work attitude.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
