**Job Purpose**

The BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM) for engineering projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with project requirements, and alignment with company standards. The role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to produce high-quality 3D models, drawings, and documentation for design, coordination, and construction purposes.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. BIM Modelling & Drafting**
- Develop and manage 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings, details, and shop drawings extracted from the BIM model.
- Maintain model integrity, ensuring all design elements are up to date and coordinated.

**2. Coordination & Collaboration**
- Work closely with project teams to coordinate design changes and resolve clashes using clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks).
- Support engineers, architects, and other stakeholders in the integration of BIM workflows.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical input regarding BIM processes.

**3. Quality Control & Standards**
- Ensure models comply with company BIM standards, project requirements, and relevant codes.
- Perform quality checks and audits to verify model accuracy and data consistency.
- Maintain organized and accessible model files for project documentation.

**4. Data Management & Documentation**
- Maintain and update BIM execution plans and project-specific modelling guidelines.
- Produce schedules, quantities, and other BIM-generated data for cost estimation and project planning.
- Archive final models and documentation for future reference.

**Requirements**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a BIM Modeler in engineering or construction projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650 is an advantage.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of construction drawings and engineering concepts.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and project requirements.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

**Working Conditions**
- Based at Wastech Engineering Sdn Bhd, Subang Hi-Tech, with occasional site visits as required.
- Standard working hours, with flexibility for project deadlines.
