**Job Description for Intern**

**Job Title**: Data Science and AI Intern
**Location**: Kelana Jaya
**Position Type**: Internship

We are seeking a motivated Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of Data Science related to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI/Large Language Models (LLMs) as well as Data Engineering. The intern will support our IT team in continuous development, Modelling, and the above Artificial Intelligence related project tasks, offering a comprehensive learning experience across multiple domains.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Predictive Modelling**: Develop and model predictive machine learning models including Deep Learning, NNs, and LLMs, to predict accurately the domain problems. These include both Supervised and Unsupervised ML models as well as Time-Series predictions.
- **Voice AI Development**: Support the development and fine-tuning of AI models (RAG), including Voice AI agents using AI tools, and contribute to the integration of these models into existing workflows.
- **Data Engineering**: Help in the digitization, validation, and merging of datasets. Participate in data preprocessing and feature engineering tasks for analysis.
- **Data Analysis and Visualisation**: Assist in developing informative and modern visualisations based on the analysis done which involves Tableau/Power BI, to portray results to Decision-Makers.
- **Quality Assurance**: Assist in testing and debugging machine learning models, AI systems, and data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with senior developers, data scientists, and product managers to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, code, and project requirements to facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer within the team.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, AI, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- **Skills**: Basic knowledge of Python scripting, Machine Learning (Tensorflow/PyTorch/Scikit-Learn), Computer Vision, NLP/LLMs, Frontend Development (Streamlit), Tableau/Power BI (Optional), and backend development.
- **Technical Abilities**: Understanding of Python libraries and their functions, experience with basic data visualization, and familiarity and interest with Generative AI and Computer Vision techniques.
- **Problem-solving**: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- **Communication**: Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- **Adaptability**: Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project requirements and technologies.
