Technician Moulding

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Machine Setup & Operation**
- Set up and operate plastic injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment according to production schedules and specifications.
- Install, align, and secure moulds into machines.
- Adjust machine settings such as temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc., to meet quality standards.

**Maintenance & Troubleshooting**
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on moulding machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process or equipment issues during production to minimize downtime.
- Report major mechanical problems to maintenance or engineering departments.

**Quality Assurance**
- Monitor product quality and perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet required standards and specifications.
- Record and report any defects, variances, or quality issues to the quality department.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety protocols.

**Documentation & Reporting**
- Complete production reports, machine logs, and maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper documentation of mould changes, machine settings, and tool maintenance.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in injection moulding processes in a manufacturing environment, preferably plastics.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of plastic moulding machine operations and tooling.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in moulding machinery.

**Soft Skills**:

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
