**Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily operations of client teams and employees
- Manage escalations
- Mentor and train others
- Provide leadership support to a team of 2-7 direct reports including administrative responsibilities
- Provide consultation on customs issues and provide timely feedback to clients
- Prepare and execute training for internal team members or external customers and suppliers
- Act as back up to the Global Trade Compliance Manager as requested
- Facilitate prompt issue resolution within department
- Timely forward suggested corrective actions or issues needing additional attention to the Global Account Manager
- Distribute and manage workload efficiently among department team members
- Run standard reports and metrics on a regular basis and analyze and review findings with Global Trade Compliance Manager
- Ensure client satisfaction
- Exhibit Allyn core values
- Manage IT projects and special projects
- Travel to client locations as needed and present
- Participate in sales, marketing and business development included but not limited to cold calls, sales trips, website content, articles, campaigns, and client presentations
- Actively participate in writing publications and articles as well as obtaining articles from team members and reviewing such content
- Assist Global Trade Compliance Manager in providing creative and informative content for corporate marketing campaigns
- Supervise employees and manage them on a day to day basis including:

- Time sheets and leave requests
- Performance reviews and Professional Development Plans
- Disciplinary action and corrective counseling
- Policy compliance
- Coaching and mentoring

- Employee engagement

**Education or Experiences**:

- Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree
- Licensed Customs Broker or actively pursuing certification
- Customs or logistics experience

- Have customs experience in compliance and consulting
- Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
