**About the role**

Berjaya CKE GROUP, an established company in the manufacturing commercial kitchen equipment industry, is seeking a talented Costing Executive to join their team in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. As a Costing Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's cost accounting processes and ensuring efficient financial operations.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Responsible for calculating the cost of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintaining a systematic product structure.
- Liaise and coordinate with the production and purchasing teams for cost-related information.
- Compute costs for quotes provided to customers, reviewing product pricing in relation to costs and profitability.
- Create, maintain, and update product costs, including product codes, BOMs, costs, and selling prices in the ERP system on a timely basis.
- Prepare detailed costing reports, both periodic and ad-hoc, for management and governmental bodies, including analysis of any fluctuations.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing standard costs against actual costs, identify inaccuracies, and propose improvement plans.
- Support ad-hoc, quarterly, and annual physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts or movements.
- Assist in budget preparation related to costing matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Costing Lead or Chief Financial Officer.

**What we're looking for**:

- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Cost Management Accounting or Accountancy.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, resourceful, organized, and meticulous skills; responsible with excellent problem-solving abilities; committed to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently with mínimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel (formulas, pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in ERP implementation is an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
