We are currently seeking an experienced Package Manager to join our high performing delivery team.

You will have a genuine passion for building projects and want to build on your experience and develop further with Lendlease. This dynamic opportunity will be based on the Exchange TRX, Lendlease's largest integrated development in Asia.

The Package Manager is responsible to manage the procurement and construction functions for the project including all Site/Project engineers to ensure the safe and successful completion of the works, on schedule, within budget and to the specified quality. In charge of overall responsibility for Programme and Productivity Management.

Key Accountabilities
- Manage packages of work on a project or element of a project using all the systems and company tools for a conclusive best outcome. The position is a manager role with full responsibility of a package of work and therefore requires a leader in the making mentality.
- Maintain daily site diary of all activities in assigned work area, paying specific attention to recording delays or any departure from planned works, changes in methodology or challenges, record of productive work and crew sizes.
- Understand and drive all site works to comply with the Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) procedures. Monitor, check, correct and assist all in using this tool as an active safety management tool. Continually assess the project for high-risk activities and hazards and implement control measures to eliminate or minimise the risk of the hazard to cause harm
- Establish and maintain a quality assurance/control system and ensure the delivery team understand its requirements.
- Control schedule and all inputs and outputs for the management of an area of work. Implement prompt corrective action and reporting if targets are not being achieved.
- Ensure consideration in plans for submittals, start-up planning, approvals/permits and programming
- Review, recommend subcontractor and supplier progress payments and provide input to cost recoveries and subcontractor variation claims accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all contractual requirements are met, including making recommendation to the Project Manager for award of practical completion, having completed all outstanding works
- Understand design quality risk for constructability, operability and maintenance, eg. temporary works, planning and scoping of design services

Qualifications in Engineering or other related disciplines supported by experience in a project or site engineering role, undertaking complex and high-volume business projects. Expert knowledge of engineering project management principles with an in-depth understanding of engineering and site management principles.
