**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct cost analysis, target costing, margin analysis and tracking of cost of underlying activities.
- Update standard costs in bill of material (BOM) and review standard & actual costs.
- Coordinate Inventory taking.

Review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems. Coordinate physical inventory taking. Investigate & coordinate reconciliation of cycle counting variances and resolve issues with process owners. Assist in setting up the manufacturing costing and stock valuation method in accordance with accounting policies. Verifying the bill of material (BOM) and performing validation on the monthly manufacturing costing data. Update standard costs in bill of material (BOM) and review standard & actual costs for inaccuracies. Review production overhead and variances to ensure accuracy of product costing. Assist in product margins analysis and cost centres/plants. Report on periodic variances and their causes. JOB REQUIREMENTS Diploma/ Bachelor Degree or Professional qualification in Accounting (E.g: ACCA/ CIMA/ MACPA) or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience. Proficient in the requirement of FRS and costing methods. Strong knowledge of cost accounting concepts. ERP knowledge and experience will be an advantage.
