Your new responsibilities
- Overall responsibility to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve on internal business process to ensure OS Penang is in compliance with legal and customers&' requirements regarding local EHS laws and regulations.&& &&& &&& &&& &&& &&& &&& &
- Coordinate plantwide activities for fulfilling customer requirements on EICC or RBA topics, including collaborating with purchasing on Supplier Responsibility audits of ams OSRAM suppliers.&& &&& &
- Implement corporate EHS reporting requirements (Environmental, Fire Safety, Radiation Safety, Accident Statistics) and report on timely basis. Cooperate and work directly with corporate EHS to define and implement global policies & standards.&& &&& &&& &&& &&& &&& &
- Drive internal EHS audits effectively, follow up until corrective actions are installed effectively.
- Support plantwide EHS training programs (including preparation training needs, materials and briefing/training).&& &
- Combine existing resources from multiple locations to create one country EHS team able to oversee all ams OSRAM operations.&& &&& &&& &&& &
- Being a key driver for establishing and integrating all relevant ISO standards into existing EHS Management System framework and ams OSRAM Malaysia "green" programs.&& &&& &&& &
- Chair all EHS meetings (EHS Council, Wastewater Compliance, Preventive Crisis Management, Energy/Water/Hazardous Waste Reduction Meetings).&& &&& &&& &
- Conduct annual EHS Management Review. && &&& &&& &&& &&& &&& &&& &
- Responsible for developing and overseeing Integrated EHS Management System, policies and procedures.&& &&& &&& &&& &
- Preparation, updates and distribution of Business Continuity Manual related documents (guideline, procedure, etc).&

What we look for
- Degree in Engineering (Chemical/ Mechanical etc) or Environmental Science or Science (Chemistry.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in EHS Management, registered with DOSH as Safety and Health Officer.
- Proven experience in EHS in a Malaysia industrial environment, in particular in facilities with large quantities of chemicals and gasses (eg semiconductor).
- Proved experience of leading a medium sized team.
