Staff Nurse

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with professional standards and clinical guidelines.
- Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Record and monitor patient vital signs, medical history, and progress notes.
- Administer medications, injections, wound dressings, and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Assist in health screenings, immunization programs, and preventive care initiatives.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing first aid and basic/advanced life support.
- Maintain infection control standards, hygiene, and patient safety at all times.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, wound care, and general health awareness.
- Handle patient communication and provide professional, compassionate support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, and support clinic administrative functions.
- Support general practice services, occupational health check-ups, and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with doctors, medical assistants, and the wider healthcare team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Participate in training, professional development, and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE).

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (new graduates with strong passion in nursing are encouraged to apply).
- Knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care standards, and clinical safety protocols.
- Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to continuous learning.
- Must have reliable transportation.
