**Job Title: Accounting / Business Intern**

**Department**: Finance & Accounting
**Location**: Petaling Utama Avenue
**Reporting To**: Finance Manager / Senior Accountant
**Duration**: 3-6 months
**Start Date**: Anytime as directed by the University

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Accounting / Business Intern** to join our finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of financial operations, reporting, and business support functions. You will gain practical knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and internal processes while contributing to real business outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in **data entry and transaction processing** (e.g., invoices, receipts, journal entries)
- Support **bank reconciliations** and **account reconciliations**:

- Help in preparing **monthly financial reports** and management dashboards
- Organize and maintain accounting documents and digital records
- Assist in **filing tax documents**, SST returns, and statutory reports
- Participate in **stock counts, asset tagging, or audit preparations**:

- Support **finance projects or process improvements**, as assigned
- Collaborate with other departments to collect and verify information
- Attend team meetings and assist with administrative tasks

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a **Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration**:

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**What You Will Learn**:

- Understanding of **business operations and cross-department collaboration**:

- Experience with **cloud accounting software** (e.g., Xero, SQL Accounting, Quickbooks)
- Exposure to **compliance, audit, and tax processes**:

- Development of **soft skills** such as communication, time management, and problem-solving

**Internship Benefits**:

- Internship allowance: RM 1,000 month
