**Introduction**
Our client, a business conglomerate group of companies listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia. They are engaged in a wide spectrum of business activities in Malaysia and other Asean region. Currently they are actively seeking qualified Accountant(s) to assume the pivotal role of
_ Finance Specialist to be _based at their corporate head office in city center, Kuala Lumpur.

The position is full time permanent role at Assistant Manager level within the Group.

Reporting to Group Finance Manager,this is a key role within the Finance department in which you will be responsible for multi-tier group consolidations, preparing statutory accounts for the Group companies, budgeting and annual financial statement.

As Finance Specialist, you will be overall responsible to perform full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting in compliance with Malaysian Finance Reporting standards and responsible to perform group consolidation and involved in multi-tier group consolidation and reporting.
- Must possess ACCA/CIMA qualification and MIS member.
- Proven 3-5 years of relevant work experience in managing group finance in public listed environment with diversified portfolio/conglomerate.
- Prior initial work experience gained from Big 4 or second tier audit firm would be highly regarded.
- Technically competent and up to date with relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards, especially Financial Reporting standards.
- Well versed in financial reporting standards, Bursa Securities listing requirements.
- Knowledge of consolidation skills will be necessary.
- Must be proficient in English, spoken and written.
- Advance-level spreadsheets and presentation skills.
