Pharmacy Assistant

Location: Melaka

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the pharmacist in processing prescriptions accurately and ensuring patients’ waiting times are minimized.
- Efficiently pack prescription medications, correct labeling, and verify prescription information. Handle prescription filing, stock counting, and maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Assist in managing medicine inventory, including recording, storing, routine checks for expired products, and ensuring stock is replenished according to FEFO & FIFO.
- Help with stock receiving and ensure it aligns with purchase orders.
- Provide health-related advice, including nutrition and wellness tips, and address customer inquiries.
- Maintain strong customer relations and assist with basic health screenings.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education and Experience: A diploma in Pharmacy or relevant work experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Positive Attitude and Willingness to Learn: We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, adaptable, and have a positive outlook.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues is key.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: The ability to work well within a team is essential to providing excellent customer service.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
