3D Fashion Designer

We are currently seeking a talented **3D Fashion Designer **on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking company dedicated to revolutionizing product design. Their innovative 3D product design tool makes it possible for users to bring their ideas to life directly in a web browser, with an easy transition from design to production.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Develop 3D Templates**:Create and develop a range of product templates, transforming initial concepts into production-ready 3D designs.
- **3D Rendering**: Bring traditional design concepts to life by defining the shape and appearance of each product in 3D, considering the impact of pre-set textures, colours, and modular components on fit and construction.
- **Technical Specifications**:Ensure all detailed specifications are expertly captured, making them ready for digital tech packs that can be sent to manufacturers.
- **Collaborate with Engineering Team**:Collaborate closely with software engineering team to make sure 3D models and files are suitable for Fabras online use cases.
- **Present Design Concepts**:Prepare and effectively present your design concepts, clearly communicating seasonal direction. Youll research, ideate, sketch, and create mood boards within pre-set fabric, trim, and material configurations to support your designs.
- **Innovate & Customize**:Utilize your product knowledge, market insights, and trend research to develop innovative designs with modular components that allow for customization.
- **Attention to Detail**:Maintain a meticulous focus on both product and process, setting the benchmark for design principles and product quality.
- **Timeline Management**:Adhere to development timelines and calendar dates, ensuring that all products are delivered on time and meet exceptional standards.

**What Our Client is Looking For**:

- **Industry Experience**:A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fashion or product design, with a strong understanding of technical design and 3D rendering.
- **Educational Background**:Degree in Fashion Design or Industrial Design (or equivalent experience).
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English, essential for interfacing professionally with Australia-based internal teams.
- **Technical Expertise**: Proficiency in 3D design software such as Style 3D, Browzwear, or CLO, along with a strong knowledge of Adobe Suite.
- **Creative Vision**:A keen eye for design, with the ability to translate traditional sketches into innovative 3D renderings that are ready for manufacturing.
- **Collaboration Skills**:Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team. You value diverse perspectives and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- **Problem-Solving Ability**:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges and implement effective solutions.
- **Self-motivated**:Able to work independently in a remote environment, providing support to Australia-based executives.
