**Job Overview**:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the factory, ensuring that the production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with safety standards while maintaining high-quality requirements. The Production Manager should lead a team of technicians, operators, and production staff, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely completion of production goals.
- Develop and implement production plans to ensure timely completion of all production tasks.
- Oversee daily production operations and adjust plans in response to issues such as equipment breakdowns or staffing shortages
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Procurement) to ensure a smooth production process.
- Provide training and guidance to optimize employee efficiency and performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify skill gaps, and make improvement plans.
- Manage, lead, and develop technicians, operators, and other production staff.
- Implement lean manufacturing and other scientific management methods.
- Gradually implement automation and technological upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
- Continuously monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
- Work closely with the Quality Control Department to ensure that production meets required specifications and standards.
- Monitor quality metrics and promptly address any related issues. Assist the business team in answering customer inquiries about production and quality.
- Implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure efficient use of raw materials and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of materials and parts.
- Control production costs within budget limits.
- Oversee machine maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Gradually upgrade equipment and continuously learn new technologies to enhance production capacity.
- Submit production reports to senior management, detailing production performance, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine usage and downtime reports, as well as electricity consumption etc.
- Be responsible for managing both major and minor production-related tasks, including team management, production process design, and handling small issues like equipment repairs, daily waste management, and water and electricity inspections etc.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
