Production Assistant Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Recommend and coordinate needed changes based Top Management’s policies.
- Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals.
- Manage group members in achieving target setting through providing clear instructions (information sharing), appropriate feedback and proper time scheduling.
- Estimation & cost setting for standard assembly/ adjustment worktime.
- Small group management through coordination of people, resource allocation, production method, production tracking & analyzing production problems.
- Assist to conduct interview, hire new staffs and provide employee orientation.
- Keep cleanliness (2S activities) & working safety.
- To support in achieving production schedule by carrying out assembly/ adjustment work.
- Handle customer claims and prepare countermeasure whereby sometime need to discuss with customer.
- Schedule and conduct group meetings (2 Way Management activities).
- To take recommendations on changes to procedures and policies in the interest of improving the functionality of the department.
- Manage and supervise staffs to ensure works are completed on time.
- Plan and control assembly unit/machine adjustment and direct shipment schedule.
- Monitoring and controlling staffs working hours.
- To monitor parts modification, improvement & equipment verification activities.
- To provide competence resources for new machine requirements.
- Employees’ performance evaluation and safety as well ensuring that the production rules and regulations are being followed.
- To develop and upgrade the technical skill of the department (identifying training needs).
- To support ISO 9001:2000 activities.
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Responsible for overall common stock control & management.
- Time to time conduct improvement on assembly/ adjustment manual & check sheet.
- Carry on duties assigned by the superior/management from time to time
