We are looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist to serve as a center of expertise for dissemination, guidance and implementation of Focused Improvement (FI) methodologies across the factory to identify, analyze and eliminate losses.

**A day in the life of...**:

- Ensure adherence to corporate and factory standards to provide consistent measuring, monitoring and improvement of performance whilst safeguarding assets. Specifically GI-21.010 (Performance Measures for Manufacturing) ,GI-21.908 (Manufacturing Standards for Costing & Planning), Capacity Utilization, SAM, Manufacturing Standard, NCE Operational Excellence savings tracking and NSAT.
- Identify areas for improvement in operations and assist businesses in driving the appropriate projects. Conduct focused improvement projects, or coordinate and lead multi-functional teams to improve operational performance.
- Setting SMART targets for the factory KPIs.
- Train & coach DOR members on use of CI tools. Support the establishment and the sustainability of a culture of Continuous Improvement across the site.
- Review and improve business & production processes. Optimize the use of systems to maintain and improve competitiveness.
- Ensure factory reporting systems in tracking performance, prioritize and monitor factory projects are well in place. Cascade factory KPIs to improvement opportunities into the factory.
- Ensure implementation of Best Practices based on benchmarking studies

**What will make you successful**:

- Competencies in DMAIC methodology (at least Yellow Belt).
- Must have experience leading 6 Sigma/DMAIC projects. Coaching DMAIC project.
- Previous leadership experience (leading others or projects teams).
- Experience in an operational function and project management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (executive committee).
- Good influencing skills and ability to understand business needs.
- Change Management.
- Strong coaching skills and ability to facilitate work in teams and facilitate training for problem solving
