**Position: Application Developer (Immediate Hiring)**:

- **Location: Mercu Worldwide, Seksyen 13 Shah Alam**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform Unit and Integrated Testing, set up test environments, troubleshoot and fix bugs/errors.
- Evaluate programming codes to ensure it meets best practice, industry standards and compatible with browsers, devices or operating systems.
- Prepare technical specifications and project documentation.
- Manage Server setup, system maintenance, database and backup, considering cyber-security and scalability.
- Work with other business units or vendors to develop the solution, test, implement and ensure that the deliverables are within agreed timeframe

**Job Requirements**:

- Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, PHP, JavaScript, XML, Query), back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js). Familiar with relational databases. Understand Web Services development - SOAP, REST, JSON.
- Experience with version control tool.
- Basic understanding in User Experience (UX) and design principles.
- Good influencing and communication skills
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- A team player as well as able to work independently.
- Critical thinker and problem solving skills.
