**Job Descriptions**:

- designs and creates three-dimensional models based on products specifications.
- involves developing new 3D products, improving old designs and working with the latest computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
- Design & model 3D product for fabrication purpose.
- Exposed to modelling s/w preferably Inventor & AutoCAD
- Conduct material estimation.
- Prepare testing plans for cutting.
- Qualifications for CAD Designer
- Conceptualise and develop innovative product designs that meet customer needs and exceed expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and marketers, to bring product ideas to life
- Conduct user research and market analysis to inform design decisions
- Create detailed product prototypes and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts
- Optimise product designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design
- Continuously refine and iterate on design solutions to ensure they meet evolving requirements

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product design, preferably in the Mechanical Engineering industry
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and design visualisation tools
- Strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and materials
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ipoh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- 3D Design: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Malaysia (preferred)
- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- driving license (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
