Job Descriptions: Takes orders of food & beverage, makes recommendations suggestion to guests in outlets and function rooms. Clears tables of utensils and to re-set table as specified by meal period. Set-up of buffet, placing of appropriate utensils according to items displayed. Work closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests. Collect, check and prepare sufficient guest supplies and equipment for Operation in the designated service area. Take reservation, greet and seat guests, present menus, take and process orders and assists the guest whenever possible. Prepare present and process guest bills according to the policies of the hotel. Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and food safety, appearance, wearing the appropriate uniform. Fully conversant with all aspects of the Micros System. Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food and Beverage combinations and up sell alternatives.
