Wireman / Electrician

Wiring and installing of electrical components for food packaging and processing machines.
- Must be able to read basic symbols and electrical diagrams.
- Strong understanding of basic formula to calculate voltage and amps.
- Strong knowledge of ladder diagrams, relay, time, heater, thermocouple, sensor, and PLC.
- Must be confident in troubleshooting electrical errors in order to comply with customer and company quality policies.
- Work closely with the teams to ensure that electrical and programming components work well for machine functionality.
- Work well under pressure and manage time efficiently in order to deliver machines in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment every day.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of electrical equipment, request for calibration when needed and store equipment safely and properly.
- Ensure that WIP parts are kept in a secure and safe location at the end of every day.
- Perform ad hoc mechanical design tasks from time to time as required by superiors (e.g. performing Outdoor Service for big electrical projects).
