**Job Purpose**:
The Lorry Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations as per company requirements. This role involves adhering to all road safety regulations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the condition of the vehicle.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Driving and Delivery**:

- Safely operate a lorry to transport goods to various destinations.
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods, while adhering to scheduled routes.
- Follow all local traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safe operation at all times.
- **Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection**:

- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good condition.
- **Loading and Unloading**:

- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods when required, ensuring items are secured safely for transport.
- Use appropriate equipment for handling goods safely.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Complete all required delivery documentation, including delivery notes, manifests, and logs.
- Record mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary data for reporting purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, times, and deliveries.
- **Customer Service**:

- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and relay to the management if needed.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Essential**:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent, with clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a lorry driver or in a similar role.
- Good understanding of road safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy loads.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- **Desirable**:

- Familiarity with GPS and route planning software.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to sit for long periods and drive for extended hours.
- Must be able to lift heavy items and assist with loading/unloading when required.
- Ability to maintain focus and safety during long shifts and varying weather conditions.

**Work Schedule**:

- Full-time position.
- Flexible hours with occasional overtime and weekend work depending on delivery schedules.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
