SOC Analyst

**Position: Analyst Dev Engineer / SOC Analyst** **Responsibility**: - Provide engineering support for SOC environment and its software life cycle management. - Test and deploy patches for SOC systems. - Supports SOC team in planning life-cycle of security log sources, including on-boarding, modifying and decommissioning of log sources. - Perform data engineering to extract data and load for security monitoring. - Work with SOC team to deploy new features and changes to SOC environment. - Troubleshooting of issues in relation to SOC technologies within the SOC environment and escalates to Subject Matter. - Experts to resolve issues when necessary. - Attributes of a Software Developer as described in the JF "R&D", such mapping is also permissible. **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Etc. - 5 years of Experience. - Experience in SOC technologies such as SIEM, SOAR or TIPGood Linux and network fundamentals. - Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell and Bash will be an advantage. - Good communication and written skill. **Job Types**: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month **Benefits**: - Health insurance - Opportunities for promotion - Professional development Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Application Question(s): - Are you Malaysian? **Experience**: - Security Operation Center: 4 years (preferred)
