Job Overview

As a Procurement Intern at Enerxite, you will support the procurement department in ensuring efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This role will give you exposure to real-world procurement operations in a dynamic industrial / business setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the full procure-to-pay (P2P) process: from requisition, quotations, purchase orders (PO), to invoice processing.
- Help source and evaluate potential suppliers: request for information (RFI), request for quotation (RFQ), and supplier evaluation.
- Monitor and follow up on orders, delivery schedules, and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain procurement and vendor databases, documentation, contracts, purchase orders, and other records.
- Support cost-analysis or cost-saving initiatives, compare vendor pricing, negotiate minor terms (under supervision).
- Assist in contract management: tracking contract milestones, renewals, terms & conditions.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. operations, finance, logistics) to understand materials requirements and resolve any procurement-related issues.
- Perform market research on suppliers, products, and pricing trends.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical sourcing, and quality standards.
- Support ad hoc procurement or supply chain projects as assigned by the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree related to Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, or other relevant field.
- Basic understanding of procurement / purchasing processes.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with ERP or procurement software is an advantage.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset; willingness to learn and adapt.
- Integrity and professionalism in handling vendor relationships and confidential information.

Duration & Location
- Internship period**:3 to 6 months**:

- Location**:Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru**.
- Work arrangements: Full-time (5 days/week)
