**JOB SUMMARY**

To act as safety technician, performing field work and helping the team to implement important routines.

**Qualification & Required Knowledge**
- Good to excellent communication skills in English, in both conversation and written.
- Good skills in performing trainings
- Attitude to immediately stop an activity/process in case of imminent risk of accident (environmental or personal)
- Be able to use technological goods such as smartphones, tablets, apps, and other user interfaces (in English)
- Must provide evidence of graduation as safety/environment technician in a nationally recognized institution
- Proven experience of at least **5 years** at industrial areas
- Desirable Local **SSS (Site Safety Supervisor)** competency

**Responsibilities**:

- Field inspections - performing Safety inspections to verify and report the compliance with laws and regulations (internal and external), or any other deviation regarding safety and environmental standards.
- Technical support to contractors, to correct any deviation or risks within the contractors works inside the workplace.
- Technical support to other personnel, to correct any deviation or risks within the workplace personnel works, regarding health, safety and environment.
- Technical support for risk assessment tools like work permit, job hazard analysis, among others.
- Participate in Site audits, inspection (internal and external) and routine surveys including the developing and drafting of audit documentation, tracking corrective actions, and monitoring trends in results of audit activities
- Monitor and report periodically (to be defined) the results of these audits and inspections as standard to be established by site.
- To report to HSE team’s focal person on all findings, non-compliance, violations of established rules, and regulations.
- To register all the above in the SAP-IM for tracking and audit purposes.
- To conduct internal audit for IMS, CAR and Environmental scopes as and when required for site and vendors.
- To strictly comply to all the established rules, regulation as we are the caretaker of these requirements
- Other necessary support regarding safety on field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
