**Key Responsibilities:1. Ambulance Driving**:
- Safely and efficiently drive the ambulance to and from emergency scenes, hospitals, or medical facilities, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Operate the ambulance’s lights, sirens, and other emergency equipment as necessary.
- Ensure that the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and ready for emergency calls, performing routine checks on the vehicle (fuel, tires, medical equipment) before and after shifts.
- Ensure proper handling of all ambulance and emergency equipment and report any damage or malfunction to the supervisor immediately.
**2. Patient Care Assistance**:
- Assist in loading and unloading patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit.
- Provide basic medical assistance as directed by paramedics or emergency medical technicians (EMTs), such as administering first aid, monitoring vital signs, or helping with the placement of patients.
- Assist in transferring patients from the ambulance to the hospital stretcher or other medical equipment, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
- Comfort and reassure patients during transportation, addressing any concerns and offering emotional support.
**3. Communication & Reporting**:
- Maintain clear and accurate communication with the EMS team and hospital staff regarding the condition of patients during transport.
- Document patient care activities and report any changes in the patient’s condition to paramedics or healthcare providers.
- Assist in completing reports on emergency calls, including patient details and transport information.
**4. Safety and Compliance**:
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during emergency transport, including the proper use of seat belts and other safety equipment for both patients and crew members.
- Comply with all local, state, and national regulations, including those related to medical transport and patient privacy (e.g., HIPAA).
- Participate in training and development programs to stay current on emergency response techniques and patient care.
**Qualifications:Education & Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred).
- Experience as an ambulance driver, patient care assistant, or in a healthcare support role (preferred).
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
